IT Support Coordinator

Job Description

Solstice is hiring an IT Support Coordinator to keep up with our growing team. The ideal candidate for this role will be a current student or recent college graduate with a background in IT and a desire for continuous learning and passion for innovation. This individual will work and report directly with the IT Lead and IT Analyst, and will support over 300 employees globally.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work within our IT help desk ticketing system
  • Assist in the maintenance of all software licensing, servers, security updates, computer upgrades, major and minor software upgrades
  • Maintain the functionality of meeting rooms tech and cables/adapters
  • Maintain an accurate and hardware inventory utilizing an MDM
  • Maintain accurate and current IT inventory of licensed software
  • Administration over office-wide systems and tools (including G Suite, Office 365, Rally, GitHub)
  • Help coordinate technical projects including web conference, wireless, and audio/visual setup
  • Imaging laptops and on boarding new hires to our software and systems
  • Other related ad hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Working towards or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field
  • Excitement for developing a career in the IT field after graduation
  • Knowledge/experience with Mac OS X operating systems
  • A familiarity with mobile would be helpful but not required
  • Understand basic networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP
  • Mac OS X, iOS, Android troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude for continuous learning and innovative thinking
  • Ability to work independently with little direction, and also in a team environment
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with internal staff
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including the ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds in equipment
  • Ability and willingness to provide support during off hours when necessary
